Taste Testing KFC Krushers

When I first saw the ads for KFC’s Krushers, I wasn’t sure what to make of them. We’re KFC regulars, but we don’t usually get desserts when we’re there (or as we’re flying through the drive-thru).

KFC contacted us a little while back and were noice enough to let us try out the Krushers – thanks, KFC!

There are 8 Krushers flavours to choose from, including fruit, smoothie and “classic” (i.e. naughty). We figured life was too short for anything remotely healthy-tasting, so went for Golden Gaytime and Kookies ‘n Kreme.

These Krushers are actually made on the spot (unlike the fruitier flavours), and so you are naturally at the mercy of the staff making your order. We had a trainee on deck with ours, so we were secretly hoping for some extra flavouring ;)

Out of the two, the Golden Gaytime was the favourite. It’s very caramel-y, perfect for my very sweet tooth.

If you want to go with a low-fat Krusher, then go for the Mixed Berries Fruit Krusher or the Mango Berry Fruit Krusher – both have only 1.2g of fat per serve. You can download the PDF of nutritional information directly from the KFC web site.

Oh hai! I'm Laura, but my friends call me Rah. When I'm not writing for That's Noice I'm writing for Smarter Admins. I love eating pink cupcakes. When I grow up, I want to be just like Karen Walker.

I’m assuming the fruit crushes are non-dairy while the smoothies have dairy?
