RSPCA Care Centre Grand opening
This Saturday 12 December 2009 from 10am to 2pm, the brand new RSPCA Care Centre at Rouse Hill will officially open to the public. You can go along and meet the staff, while enjoying a free bbq and children’s face painting.
The RSPCA Care Centre is the first of it’s kind in Australia. It includes animal adoption facilities, veterinary treatment rooms, and a large range of human and furry friend products.
The Centre will be an extension of the RSPCA shelters. Animals cost the same amount, the staff are RSPCA trained, and the adoption process is the same. Just in a more animal and human friendly environment.

Shelters aren’t always the most customer-friendly environments. Many people avoid going to shelters because they find the experience too emotional. Instead, they go to pet shops or backyard breeders which are the worst place to buy your furry family members.
The aim of the Care Centre is to increase adoption and decrease euthanasia, which is very important as the RSCPA moves into it’s busiest time of year.
