Magnetic Vase

I really like these magnetic vases. If we owned a dining table… and a table cloth, then I would totally buy some. But I guess for now I’ll just stick with the old jar I use on the odd occasion I am given flowers.

With these vases, you place the metal base under the table cloth, and then the vase on top. Here’s a handy diagram if that doesn’t make sense.

It can hold water and thus is great for real flowers and artificial ones.

Available from Made in Design (UK). The price listed is £35.10 for a set of 5.

Or you could try your hand at a bit of D.I.Y.

These are cute, but again, lack of tablecloth in my case would leave them metal on metal.

I’m liking that but I can just see my kids tossing forks and knives to see if they’ll stick to the magnets under the table cloth!
